What’s Different about Love Voice in 2014?

    2014 is shaping up as an exciting year. We’re in an amazing and brand new space in South Melbourne, making it easier for you to come and visit. Early morning, evening and weekend sessions are finally available to all Voice Lovers who have been requesting for years. A wide array of courses and catch-up sessions are on the books, to suit all budgets. Masterclasses will be available in specific accents, and a series of free RSVP discussion events on everything voice are scheduled. Of course, private series are always available, along with the introduction of small group text exploration.

1. Love Voice Fridays

Four times a year only, these individual sessions are specifically created for those on a budget:
- $25 private voice tune-up
- For Students and Early Career Actors
- Refreshed Vocal Plan
- Individual Focus

Dates: Feb 14, May 16, Aug 8, Nov 14
Cost: $25.00 per person, per session*.

 

2. Free RSVP Event - Accents and Dialects Revision

For all past participants in the Accents and Dialects Course, this 2 hour event will ease you back into accents gracefully and give you some spanking new information regarding your accent work:
- Free to past participants
- New information and revision
- Test your accent prowess
- Limited places (5 remaining)

3. Actors New Years Resolution: - NYR

Is your New Year’s Resolution to follow your acting dreams? Start by strengthening your technique From January to March (12 weeks). All too often, you go to workshops and classes and work on text in action, but the same old problems remain and you are reinforcing old habits, rather than retraining those neural pathways.

Only Four New Years Resolution Spaces are available and include:
- Individual attention and tailored program
- One weekly group class (1hr)
- One solo voice class per week (45mins Over 8 week period from January 7 - March 1)
- Bi-weekly e-reminders to keep you on track
- A wealth of new exercises and materials to keep you on track
- The option to continue throughout the year at a highly discounted rate of only $50 per session.

4. Accents and Dialects Masterclasses - NY Accents and English Dialects

Two sessions over two weeks to refine your accent skills:
- Open to past participants only
- Script and text work
- New information on Accents
- Revision on technique
- Six Participants only (in each class - 5 remaining in each)
- All materials included

Dates:
New York (including Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan) March 4 and 11, 1 - 3pm
English Dialects (including Yorkshire, Liverpool, Manchester) June 3 and 10, 1 - 3pm.
Cost:
One Set: $120 per person* (two sessions)
Both Sets: $220 per person* (four sessions)

5. RSVP Event - The Voice Discussion

A series of voice based discussions mediated by Anna Boulic from teaching English as a Second Language to Actors, to the Role of the Voice Coach/Director and Voice pedagogy.

Themes will come from participants and may include:
- Where does voice work sit within the Australian Theatre industry?
- New emerging pedagogies and the need for development of the familiar.
- Developments in Accents and dialects.
- Professional Development Opportunities in Voice Work

A maximum of 6 participants (5 remaining)

Dates: Wed Feb 19 and/or Wed July 16
Cost: A nominal fee of only $10, fully claimable for Industry Professionals and Actors.

6. Stage Ready Introduction 

Launched in the US in July 2013, Stage Ready is currently undergoing clinical trials for other anxiety disorders by the renowned Behavioural Neurotherapy Specialist, Dr. Jaques Duff. Stage Ready is a self-contained training package, designed to stimulate focus and lessen anxiety, thus assisting during high pressure events such as auditions and performance. The Stage Ready Introduction includes:
- full package including CDs, booklet and scent (RRP $180)
- a 45 minute introductory and technique session
- follow-up support during encoding stage

Cost: $220* all inclusive (Product without session $180)

Private tuition services offered at Love Voice by Anna Boulic are:

- Speech and Communication including Public Speaking for English as a Second Language Speakers.
- Specialist training in vocalising with your instrument (ie piano/harp/guitar).
- Accent Reduction
- Actor Voice Training in Shakespeare and Classical Text
- Audition Preparation
- Mini-classes for groups of two to three



*Terms and Conditions:
- All bookings for a series require a 50% payment to ensure your place. This is transferrable to currently scheduled classes, but not refundable.
- If you do not show up or you cancel your private session within 24hours, a 50% fee will be charged. Notification must be by telephone on 0408 572 872.
- Earlybird discounts only apply to those who have payed in full by the specified date.
- All students are required to fill in and return a registration before taking part in group classes.
